Exodus: Gods and Kings – The Pulse Cola Review

Exodus: Gods and Kings is a biblically inspired film directed by Ridley Scott and is an interpretation of the exodus of the Hebrews from Egypt as led by Moses and related in the Book of Exodus. The cast includes Christian Bale, Joel Edgerton, Aaron Paul, Siguorney Weaver and Ben Kingsley.

For me, what really stood out about this movie, is that it makes the tale of Moses much more practical and believable. “The 10 Commandments” came off as so far-fetched that you could have easily compared that film to “The Wizard of Oz.”  Continue reading

Does Mark Wahlberg Deserve a Pardon for his Heinous Crimes?

Recently I found out that Hollywood Megastar Mark Wahlberg is asking the State of Massachusetts to grant him a “pardon” for a vicious hate crime he committed in 1988. Wahlberg committed two counts of attempted murder and sat a menial jail sentence. Shortly thereafter, his entertainment career went into full gear as rapper Marky Mark and then eventually accomplished actor Mark Wahlberg. Mark is asking for a full pardon not only that crime, but for his entire criminal record. Does Mark have the right to ask? Absolutely, every American can ask for an expungement, does he deserve one? Lil Wayne Wants to Leave Cash Money Records

One of the longest standing relationships in music is possibly headed for a major separation. According to Lil’ Wayne, Cash Money Records is adamantly refusing to drop Lil’ Wayne’s next album “The Carter V.”

This past March MTV reported that “The Carter V,” which Lil’ Wayne has stated will be his final solo album, would be released this past May. With the exception of a few singles the album in it’s entirety has not been released and Wayne has gone as far as to say his current contract with Cash Money is similar to a prison sentence. 'Star Wars' Actor Oscar Isaac to Play Villain in 'X-Men: Apocalypse'

After months of speculation, as well as rumors that Tom Hardy was being fitted for the role, X-Men Director Bryan Singer has officially cast Oscar Isaac to portray the X-Men’s greatest enemy “Apocalypse.”

Apocalypse’s real name is En Sabah Nur, which translates to “the first one,” alluding to the fact that he is considered the first human born with the mutant-X gene. Given his ancient heritage, he is extremely powerful and considers himself a God. Continue reading
